Evaluation usually takes 7–21 days from the arrival of the sample at the laboratory, not from the order date. We let you know as soon as your results are in.
  • Four parameter categories miRNA stress signature, DNA stability, inflammation and micronutrients
  • Epigenetic traces of stress Shows which genes are activated under chronic stress
  • Just one drop from a fingertip No doctor's visit, no venepuncture, about five minutes
  • Results consultation included Evaluation by the expert team

The approach

Measure first, then decide

Without measured values, any treatment is guesswork. We turn that around: the lab report comes first, the decision second.

Consultation to put the measured values in context
  1. 01
Measure Four parameter categories from a single drop of capillary blood, analysed at a partner laboratory in Germany.
Epigenetik | Stress Monitor · Capillary blood (fingertip) · 7–21 days from sample arrival
  2. 02
See where you stand Every value appears in the lab report with the laboratory's reference range. You can see which values fall inside it and which do not.
    Lab report including a consultation
  3. 03
Targeted, not blanket Instead of a standard package you take what your values call for — agreed with a practitioner.
    Initial consultation, 10 minutes, free
  4. 04
Measure again after a few months The same analysis a second time shows how the values have changed.
    Earliest sensible interval: 3 months

Ory experts are with you

Doctors and non-medical practitioners from the Ory team are there for you throughout — for the lab report and everything after it.

Initial consultation

What a value means, and whether a supplement is right for you, is something to discuss with a practitioner. This page makes no recommendation and is no substitute for medical assessment.

What this analysis covers

What is measured

Four parameter categories make up the epigenetic stress profile.

A613 Stress-associated miRNAs Involved in regulating gene expression under chronic stress
A613 DNA stability Chromosome integrity under oxidative stress
A613 Inflammation markers Indications of stress-related inflammatory processes
A613 Methylation-relevant micronutrients Cofactors of epigenetic regulation

The biomarker reference explains what lies behind the numbers: how values interact, which cofactors are involved and which biochemical processes take place in the body — for all values and areas, not only this analysis.

For whom

Epigenetik | Stress Monitor suits anyone who wants to make lasting stress measurable at the molecular level — an objective addition to how stress feels, for instance where chronic overload is suspected or as part of a prevention plan.

What a single value means in your situation is something to discuss with a practitioner. It does not replace medical assessment.

How it works

Four steps from order to lab report.

  1. 01 Kit arrives Sent the next working day, postage paid, to your door.
  2. 02 Take the blood One small finger prick, one drop of blood, about five minutes.
  3. 03 Send it in Labelled, with the request form, in the postage-paid envelope.
  4. 04 Receive the report 7–21 days after the sample arrives.

Instructions

The essentials first:

  • Warm the hand well first, clean the finger with an alcohol swab and let it dry.
  • Place one drop of blood on the pre-punched field and let it air-dry.
  • Send it labelled, in the foil pouch, together with the request form.

Please read the instructions carefully. Correct preparation matters: it is what allows your sample – stool, urine, saliva or blood – to be evaluated cleanly and meaningfully.

Family and partner diagnostics

Testing together shows connections that a single analysis does not reveal. We need three things for it.

Clear details per person For everyone tested we need a name and date of birth so the laboratory can match everything correctly.
A separate email address Each person needs their own email for secure digital access. Where that is not possible, we send the results as a PDF to one shared address.
Clear labelling Samples and forms must each be matched to the right person.

From three tests of the same analysis for the family you get 10 % off. Write to us and you will receive your own discount code.

Reimbursement by private insurance

This is how a possible reimbursement by your private insurance works with us:

01 A short online consultation with one of our therapists We go through your symptoms and record a brief medical history.
02 A referral for the relevant lab tests After the consultation you receive a referral that you can submit to your private insurer.

Many private insurers cover the cost in full or in part – some, however, not at all. That depends entirely on your policy. We will support you through the process as best we can.

Supplements

Supplements for the areas in this analysis

Which supplement is right for you, and at what dose, is something you discuss with a practitioner after the lab report. This page recommends nothing.
