FAQ – common questions on skin diagnostics
Why is skincare alone not enough?
The skin is an organ of detoxification. When the gut, the liver or the metabolism are overloaded, a lot is "sent out" through the skin. Skincare alone often does not get you far.
Can my diet really improve my skin?
Yes – if you know what your body needs and what it does not tolerate. Intolerances, deficiencies and silent inflammation can be influenced through diet.
What if my skin problems are hormonal?
Here too our diagnostics give pointers – for example on neurotransmitters, stress profiles and liver function.
How does testing work?
Depending on the test you get a kit for use at home, or you hand the sample in with a practitioner. What the lab report means is discussed in the results consultation.
