Juice fasting at home
Two, four or six days without solid food, with freshly pressed juices and herbal tea alongside. The juices are made up every two days at Natura Heilpraxis, for collection or by courier.
Fasting is a change of diet for a limited period. Whether it is an option for you depends on existing conditions, medication and your circumstances. That is something to settle in a conversation before you buy, not on this page.
A course starts before the first fasting day
For a four-day course, the whole period including preparation and refeeding runs to about nine days.

Freshly pressed, no preservatives
All the juices are made with a slow juicer: slow revolutions, and therefore less heat and less oxidation than with a centrifugal juicer.
Additional appointments at Natura Heilpraxis
These treatments are not part of the course and are booked separately. Whether one of them makes sense for you is something to discuss in the consultation.
Often ordered as well
Whether any of these is an option for you is something to discuss with a practitioner. This page recommends nothing.
Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
What has been studied on fasting, weight and liver
The studies below look at dietary programmes lasting weeks to months under medical supervision, not a juice course of two to six days. They describe what the evidence covers in that field — not what this course does.
The programmes cited ran from three months to two years under medical supervision, some with medication adjusted. A juice course of two to six days is not comparable and is not a treatment for diabetes or fatty liver.
If you want to know what has changed, you need a starting value. A sensible gap between two measurements: at least three months.
Where does it take place?
The consultation and the collection of juices and teas happen at Natura Heilpraxis; the rest is at home: drinking, walking, sleeping. Extra appointments such as colon hydrotherapy or infrared sauna are optional and booked separately.
Do I need to take time off?
No, you can work during the programme. Plan in short breaks and try not to put extra tasks into those days — many people feel weaker than usual at times.
Are the juices freshly pressed?
Yes. The juices are made fresh every two days. They can be collected at the practice or sent by courier. A 4- or 6-day programme therefore needs two or three collections.
Are the ingredients organic?
Yes. All juices are made from organic fruit and vegetables, with no preservatives.
How long do the juices keep?
Best drunk on the day you receive them. Leftovers keep in the fridge for another two days.
Can the juices be delivered?
Yes, by bike courier within Berlin or by express delivery. The same rule applies: at most two daily rations per delivery.
What is a slow juicer?
A juicer that runs slowly. Fruit and vegetables are broken up and pressed at low speed. Less friction means less heat and less oxidation than with fast-spinning machines.
What is colon hydrotherapy?
A rinsing of the large intestine with water at varying temperatures, accompanied by a gentle abdominal massage; a probiotic is given at the end. It is a naturopathic treatment and is booked separately.
What if I do not feel well during the programme?
Call us or come to the practice. The Natura Heilpraxis team is available throughout the programme. If symptoms are severe or persistent, stop the programme and have it checked by a doctor.
Who should not fast?
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, if you are underweight, have an eating disorder, diabetes requiring medication, kidney or liver disease, or are taking prescribed medicines. In these cases, speak to your doctor first.
Fasting is not a treatment for illness. If you have existing conditions, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor first. If you feel unwell during the course, stop and contact the practice.
